To give patients a complete understanding of what to expect from their plastic surgery procedure, Re. Plastic Surgeons use the advanced Vectra 3D Imaging System.
While before-and-after photos can provide some indication of the outcome, a more personalised representation may be desired. Using this system, we capture multiple photos and combine them to make a three-dimensional image. Adjustments to the appearance of the patient’s image can then be made in real time. This provides the opportunity to preview various surgical options and decide on the procedure that best suits your personal goals.
In the case of a breast augmentation, a Plastic Surgeon may place different size implants on a patient’s chest to give them a simulation of what suits their exact frame and body type and what their breasts may look like after surgery.
Vectra 3D Imaging is also used for breast lifts, body contouring, rhinoplasty and more. The entire process takes only a few minutes and you will have the opportunity to review the results during the consultation with your Re. Plastic Surgeon.
Managing expectations is an essential part of our consultation process and 3D Imaging provides the most realistic view possible while ensuring that both the surgeon and patient are working to the same desired outcome.
