The first few days are a bit sore, often a feeling of tightness in your abdomen, and you’ll feel a bit doubled over and swollen. Most of the bruising and swelling will be gone by three weeks. For the majority of women, they can go back to work at around three weeks. Some may go back a bit earlier or later, but it generally depends on the type of work you do. Generally, you’ll be able to drive by about the two week mark.
