Breast Augmentation & Enhancement

Augmentation & Enhancement

Breast augmentation is a procedure that increases the size of the breasts using implants. This leads to fuller, larger-looking breasts and can sometimes also reduce sagging and increase firmness. Breast augmentation is a popular choice for those with small breasts due to development or who have lost breast volume through time, weight loss or pregnancy.

During consultation, your surgeon will discuss every aspect of the surgery with you, taking into account the goals you may have regarding the outcome. Decisions about the implants, including type, shape and size as well as position of the scars will be made together with your surgeon.

To make choosing the size of your implants easy and as accurate as possible, Re. is able to provide a simulation of your breasts post-augmentation using the Vectra 3D Imaging System.

Breast augmentation is typically performed as a day surgery under a general anaesthetic. As implants can take weeks to fully settle, our follow-up process continues until everything is fully healed and patients are happy with their appearance.

Breast Reduction

Reduction

Breast reduction is a procedure that decreases the size of breasts, which may be larger than desired due to development, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Naturally occurring asymmetry may also be addressed. Larger breasts can contribute to a number of health problems in women, in addition to feeling self-conscious about their appearance.

Those with larger breasts may suffer from chronic back, neck and shoulder pain, chaffing, skin rashes, shoulder grooves and experience difficulty in exercising or finding clothes that fit properly. By reducing their size, breast reduction can alleviate these issues commonly associated with large breasts.

During consultation, Re. staff and surgeons will discuss every aspect of the surgery including any goals you may have, preference of size, shape and location of scars, as well as booking a mammogram if necessary.

Breast reduction can occur as a day surgery procedure or be performed with an overnight stay, always under general anaesthetic. Recovery time is relatively short with a high rate of satisfaction. Follow-up continues until everything is fully healed and patients are happy with their appearance.

Breast Lift (Mastopexy)

Lift (Mastopexy)

Also known as a mastopexy, a breast lift is a procedure used to improve the shape of breasts by correcting sag, droop or asymmetry that has occurred naturally or due to pregnancy, breastfeeding or weight loss. This can help alleviate associated back, neck and shoulder pain, chaffing and skin rashes as well as make exercising and fitting into certain clothing easier.

A breast lift is done by raising the nipple and improving the breast shape while reducing excess skin. During consultation, a Re. surgeon will work closely with you to discuss every aspect of the surgery and develop a personalised approach based on your current breast appearance and expectations.

To help visualise the results prior to surgery, Re. is able to provide a simulation of your breast lift using the Vectra 3D Imaging System.

A mastopexy is performed under a general anaesthetic and can occur as day surgery or with an overnight stay. Recovery time is relatively short with a high rate of satisfaction. Follow-up continues until everything is fully healed and patients are happy with their appearance.

Breast Gynaecomastia

Gynaecomastia

Gynaecomastia is an excessive enlargement of the male breasts. It may be the result of certain drugs, medication or linked to weight gain, however usually there is no known cause. Men with the condition can feel self-conscious about their appearance and surgery may be the best treatment option.

The surgery reduces breast tissue via liposuction, excision via a minor incision under the nipple, or a combination of both.

During consultation, a Re. surgeon will exclude any of the known causes of the gynaecomastia and identify any underlying health concerns. If surgery is advised, the most appropriate method will be determined and each aspect of the surgery discussed in detail.

Gynaecomastia is typically a well-tolerated procedure that happens as a day surgery or with an overnight stay, under a general anaesthetic. Recovery is relatively quick, with follow-up once all is settled and an improved male chest shape is achieved.
